Activision warns that Call of Duty: Warzone, Black Ops Cold War and Modern Warfare will no longer fit on a 500gb PS4

Call of Duty: Warzone's Season Two went live earlier this week.

The download takes up a hefty 17GB on PlayStation, 17.9GB on Xbox and 20.8GB on PC.

The download prompted Activision to warn those playing on a default 500GB PS4 that they would no longer be able to store the full versions of Modern Warfare, Warzone and Black Ops Cold War on their consoles.

Players can uninstall parts of Black Ops Cold War and Modern Warfare to save space, but this really shows how ridiculous the file sizes for these games have gotten.

Pokémon Diamond and Pearl remakes officially announced

Pokémon Diamond and Pearl remakes were confirmed during the Pokémon Direct showcase earlier this week.

The games titled Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl will launch in late 2021. The games will see a return to the more classic top-down art style unlike the Sword/Shield games.

They aren’t the only games to be revisiting the Sinnoh region however. Pokémon Legends: Arceus which was also announced, it takes place in Sinnoh years before the original games and will be an open world 3-D RPG. It’s set to release in early 2022.

System Shock remake launches this summer

Nightdive Studios has confirmed that it’s System Shock remake will launch this summer.

A trailer for the game was released this week along with a demo which is available from Steam, GOG and Epic.

The game which will be a remake of LookingGlass Technologies 1994 first-person sci-fi action-adventure game of the same name will place players in the role of a hacker aboard a space station which has fallen into disarray due to a crazed AI.

Nightdive Studios had to persevere through a very troubled development period, but it looks to have paid off. The game will cost £31.99.

Cyberpunk2077 Patch Delayed

CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077 recently announced that it has had to delay the games 1.2 Patch, also known as the big bug fix update.

The patch wont be coming until the end of March.

The company made the announcement on their Twitter citing the recent cyber-attack they experienced and the scope of the update as the reasons for the delay.

“Our goal for Patch 1.2 goes beyond any of our previous updates. We’ve been working on numerous overall quality improvements and fixes, and we still have work to do to make sure that’s what you get,” they said.

Analysts believe that chip shortages will last for at least another year

Tom’s Hardware reports that some analysts believe that demand for chips now exceeds supply by about 30%.

They also believe that supply wont catch up until well into 2022.

It seems that if you’ve been putting off building or upgrading a PC due to the current market you could be waiting a while.

Samsung confirms AMD GPU for next flagship product

Samsung announced that its future Exynos processors will integrate custom AMD Radeon graphics.

This comes after Samsung and AMD entered into a ‘strategic partnership’ to bring the latter’s high-performance Radeon graphics to mobile processors.

“This strategic partnership will extend the reach of our high-performance Radeon graphics into the mobile market, significantly expanding the Radeon user base and development ecosystem,” said AMD CEO Dr. Lisa Su.

Although it will probably be a while before we see any of AMDs technology utilised in a Samsung smart phone its sure to be an interesting collaboration.
