According to videocardz.com, the first 3DMark scores of AMD's newest GPU offering RX Vega are in, and they are a tad underwhelming.
These could still be work in progress or the finished article so may be too early to comment on them, but there is still a chance final performance will be different with the addition of proper drivers although that chance is getting slimmer as these leaks come out. The listing does not tell us which RX Vega is being tested and in what mode (gaming or silent mode?).

All I can say is it's not quite at the level most enthusiasts were hoping it to achieve. After the success of their CPU range Ryzen, fans of AMD where hoping that they would release another hit with RX Vega but if these scores prove correct they are hitting the same levels as GTX 1080 and not a 1080ti as was hoped. Keeping that in mind, if AMD accept a smaller margin and slap a reasonable price tag on these cards and manage to increase performance with patches/drivers and better optimisation they may yet prove to be a worthy consideration when buying a new GPU. Draw your own conclusions as this is all rumours for now.
