"Best Nintendo Console Ever?"

Looking at the sales, the Switch could be just that if it keeps up its momentum, and the fact that it also has much better 3rd party and indie game support means it could do just that.

10K gaming at 120Hz will be possible with HDMI 2.1, just not soon.

You read that right 10K, while the world of entertainment and PC gaming attempts to get up to scratch with 4k(3840x2160) resolution the newest figures form the official HDMI 2.1 spec sheet claims it will support up to a whopping 10K resolution at a very respectable 120Hz refresh rate.

PCIe 4.0 Set to hit the Consumer Market by 2018

Peripheral Component Interconnect Express, PCI Express or PCIe for short is a high-speed serial computer expansion bus standard. To you and me its how our expensive graphics cards and other bits of equipment talk to our CPU. Typically for most users, the main use of a PCIe slot was for our fancy expensive GPU, maybe a network or Wi-Fi card, but nowadays we are getting more and more components that are making use of this standard. From extra USB ports or SATA connections, to blistering fast PCIe SSDs.

Coffee Lake Official Announcement. Release Date & Pricing.

So finally we have gotten some official word out of camp Intel, and it looks like a lot of the leaks/rumors are true. We already knew that the core count rumors from a while back were true, but now we also have found out that the release date is indeed the 5th of October, a little over a week away. Not only that, but we no longer need to speculate on pricing, as Intel has also revealed the cost. Alas, that is not fully true, as Americans no longer have to speculate on pricing, but over here we do, yet as the the cost in dollars is typically very close to the cost in Pounds, when you bring in tax etc., all we have to do is convert the Pounds to Euros and Bob's your uncle we have a decent estimate. So, I would estimate you are looking at a new i7 8700K for about €410/£360.

Intel Coffee Lake Rumored for early October

So according to videocardz.com Intel's latest i7 offering could be hitting the shelves in just a few short weeks in early October. Their sources says retail release, while this latest rumour looks more like the distribution of Intel’s 8th Gen series, regardless the date on the leak says it will begin October 5th. Their post is accompanied by the picture below, which is the source of this rumour, it looks like a screen shot of a company's Inventory system with some key details such as pricing blurred out. Weather true or not I suspect we will be seeing it very soon, as it makes sense to get it out with plenty of time to spare for reviews and hype to build before Christmas.

PSA: PCs need regular maintenance and cleaning.

So one of the easiest ways to let your PC slow down and even break is by not performing regular maintenance, on both hardware and software. Cleaning is one of the most important of these maintenance tasks that needs done. When your PC is turned on there should be a constant air flow moving throughout it keeping the important components cool. Typically PCs will have at least one intake fan, one exhaust fan, and a dedicated CPU fan. Some cheaper setups will have the fans double up their use, while custom gaming builds and enthusiast workstations may have many more fans.
